What does Telefónica I+D offer?

  • Funding for subcontracting services, as we act as providers in the search for schools, living accommodation (both location and assessment for the contract), opening a current account, registration of services (electricity, gas, telephone, etc.).
  • Assessment for obtaining permits: visas and other documents as well as tax assessment for the first year.
  • Removals: up to 25 m3 (Europe: 5,000 euros and outsider Europe, 8,000 euros) or alternatively, 6,000,000 euros net in the first payroll.
  • Accommodation: 1 month in a hotel or the equivalent cost for up to 4 months in an apartment/hotel / apartment.
  • Possibility of loans for up to 3 net month instalments.
  • Payment of the family unit trip: from Europe in tourist class and from outside Europe in business class.
  • Spanish classes: payment of a language school for 2 months, for the candidate and spouse.

Internship

Here at Telefónica I+D we are also especially interested in people looking for internships . And each year we take on approximately 300 individuals all from prestigious Spanish and international universities. We have a 6-month internships programme that can be extended and which is characterized by its flexible timetable and the fact that individuals can get involved in projects from the moment they start within the company.

Internships for PhD students

Given the company's interest in innovation and research, we are currently also offering internships to PhD students. This represents an attractive opportunity to learn and develop professionally within one of Teléfonica I+D's scientific groups.
